Finally, the iPhone 15 is out. It has a design that feels just right. The aerospace-grade aluminum frame is highly durable, and the new contoured edges feel even better in your hand. The innovative new design features back glass with colour infused throughout the material. A custom dual ion exchange process for the glass and an aerospace-grade aluminum enclosure help make iPhone 15 incredibly durable. Using chemistry, Apple perfected the creation of colour. Superfine metallic ions embed colour into the glass — with a unique formulation for each colour. Then, the glass is polished with nanocrystalline particles and etched to create a textured matte finish. The phone measures 147.6 x 71.6 x 7.8 mm and weighs 171g. Moreover, 75% recycled aluminum is in the enclosure and available in Black, Blue, Green, Yellow, and Pink.

• Live Stickers: Touch and hold an object in a photo to lift it from the background and create a sticker. Add effects like Puffy and Shiny. Or create animated stickers from Live Photos.
• Live Voicemail: Call a voicemail and see a live transcript of the message.

Messaging

Tap the new plus button to view everything you send—photos, audio messages, and your location. Swipe up to view the rest of your iMessage apps. Check-In automatically notifies your friend or family member when you arrive at your destination, such as your home. A new catch-up arrow lets you jump to the first message you haven’t seen in a conversation. And now you can swipe to the right on any message to send a reply. Find the message you’re looking for faster by combining search filters to narrow your search quickly. A new way to share and view locations: Share your location or request a friend’s location from the plus button. View it directly within your conversation when someone shares a location with you. Read an audio message transcription; audio messages are now transcribed, so you can read them at the moment and listen later.

Stickers

Stickers in one place: The new stickers drawer lets you access all your Live Stickers, emoji, Memoji, and other sticker packs. Your stickers sync with iCloud to be available on your iPhone, iPad, and Mac devices.

Use your photos to create Live Stickers:

Stylize Live Stickers with effects. Add effects like Shiny, Puffy, Comic, and Outline or create animated Live Stickers with your Live Photos. Your stickers drawer is in the emoji keyboard, so you can use stickers anywhere you can access emoji — including apps from the App Store. Use Markup to add stickers to photos, documents, screenshots, and more.

Facetime:

Record a video or audio message when someone misses your FaceTime call. Add a reaction that fills the camera frame with fun 3D augmented reality effects like hearts, confetti, fireworks, and more. And you can share a response with just a hand gesture. Use your iPhone as a camera and start a call directly from the FaceTime app on Apple TV, or hand off the call from your iPhone to your TV.

Standby

Take advantage of the new full-screen experience. Turn your iPhone on its side while charging to make it even more helpful when you set it down.

• Live Activities in Full Screen: With Live Activities in Full Screen, you can stay on top of things happening in real time, like the game’s score or the progress of your food delivery.
